BLACKBURN Harriers Under 15 girls were the top Lancashire team in the National Cross Country Relay Championships at Mansfield on Saturday. In wet and muddy conditions only one northern team were ahead of them as the girls finished 14th of 37 teams. Anna Brooks opened with a lap of 8:05 with Candy Hamilton and Rachel Holt following in 8:35 and 8:08. The under 13 team of Rachel Clements, Dominique Morton and Caris Lake were 28th in their race. The Hyndburn AC boys' team of Nathan Riding, Callum Fitzpatrick and Liam Regan were 21st of 42 teams. This was a very good performance as the boys are all first year under 13's, competing against older athletes.
BLACKBURN Harriers are holding their Annual Presentation Night at St Mark's Club, Preston Old Road on Friday 24th November at 7pm.
