PUPILS from St Mary's Catholic High School in Blackpool had a change from the four walls of the classroom to explore the great outdoors on their recent Outward Bound course in the Lake District.
A seven-strong group of Year 10 pupils took a trip to Ullswater Outward Bound Centre to take part in activities such as raft building, orienteering and canoeing, as well as slightly more physical sports like waterfall climbing and doing assault courses.
One pupil, Danny Fleetwood, said: "Outward bound has got to be the best thing I have ever done. I think it is absolutely brilliant and I would love to go again."
