DERBY rivals Blackburn Rovers and Burnley have held the second of a series of meetings aimed towards ensuring a trouble-free game at Turf Moor on Sunday, December 17.

The two clubs have been in dialogue with each other and the police to put arrangements in place for the first League meeting between the sides in 17 years.

Rovers chief executive John Williams said: "There has been good co-operation between all involved parties and these meetings have been an important part of that for a game which is obviously of great interest to both clubs."

Rovers will release travel and ticket details tomorrow.
