I HAD to smile at the letter from Mrs P. Parkinson (The Journal, November 3). In it she stated the busway would be a great help to mothers with prams and disabled people as well.
I've never met anyone yet who wants the busway, except the Parkinsons.
I'm not concerned about where their son-in-law lives, I'm concerned about Tyldesley.
When did they last walk down to the pathway? Do yourself a favour Mrs P., take a walk down Astley Street then follow the path towards Hough Lane. Then tell us you still think all that woodland should be destroyed for a stupid busway!
