STILL singing after all those years!
That's 100-year-old Mary Ellen McDonough, who was the smiling birthday girl on Wednesday at Richmond House nursing home in Mitchell Street, Leigh.
"She's lovely," said Richmond House Sister Amanda Waterworth.
"Mary loves singing and all kinds of music and enjoys nothing better than a good chat."
Photographer Colin Lyne caught Mary on the eve of her 100th birthday getting ready for a party with fellow residents and her family and friends.
Mary is a former housekeeper at Twelve Apostles Church in Leigh and used to be a resident at Orchard Lane convent.
