BODYBUILDERS at Cosgroves Physio-Fit Gym pumped their way to the top awards at the Mr and Miss North West Manchester 2000 competition.
Six men and women from the Atherton centre took part in the event at Formby Hall and all the contestants managed to get placed in the top two.
Steve Culshaw won the senior section and beat his rival Pat Lewarne, who came second after winning the title last year.
Kath Hoggitt won the Miss Figure award for the second year running and Diane Anderton came second after just 18 months of bodybuilding.
Michael Horrocks managed to win the junior title and his brother Paul came second place.
