A HORSE riding school for the disabled in Lowton is to benefit from police pedal power.
Eight members of the Royal Navy Police Headquarters, Scotland, are taking part in a sponsored cycle ride from Helensburgh, Scotland to Lowton.
They aim to complete the 236.9 mile journey in three days beginning on Monday. All money raised will be equally divided between two charities -- Heybrook Farm Community project, Slag Lane, Lowton, which provides free horse riding for disabled children and the Acorn Trust, Vale of Leven Hospital Children's ward.
Anybody interested in sponsoring the ride can contact Jean Knights on 01942 261334.
