A TRIO of young Tyldesley disco dancers have boogied off with Euro titles.
The pupils from the 180 Dance Club lifted the trophies in the European Rock and Roll and Disco Championships 2000 in Prestatyn.
Seven-year-old Paige Sheals, of Acresfield, Astley, a pupil at Garrett Hall School, collected the under eights title, Rebecca Shaw, nine, of York Avenue, Tyldesley, a pupil at Shakerley, the Under 10 intermediate award and Laura Wakefield, 13, of Worsley, the Under 14s championship.
For Rebecca, who has been dancing for four years, it was her second European title. She has also taken the British Isles under eight prize.
Paige has previously won the British Isles Under 6 event and Laura the British Isles Under 12s.
Mums Soraya Sheals, Lesley Shaw and Sue Wakefield are thrilled by the success of their dance-mad daughters.
They said: "They all live for dancing, attending classes on four days a week. We are all very proud of our girls, and we'd like to thank their teacher Donna Wyatt for all she has done."
