FOOTBALL enthusiasts are dashing around every football club in the country to raise money for Children in Need.

David Poole, managing director of Screenprint in Leigh, a Manchester City supporter, is visiting 92 football clubs in the UK within 92 hours along with fellow City fans in time for Children In Need today.

"Its a good charity," said Mr Poole, who has two grown up children of his own, Jason, 29 and Simon, 26. "After we've been around the clubs we'll be dashing to the BBC studio and we'll be on the television at ten to one on Saturday morning."

David will be travelling the 2,600 mile trip along with Keith Bolton and Alan Lingard, both managers at the Royal Bank of Scotland along with Phil McKeown, a solicitor.

"We'll all be driving," said David.

At every club they visit they will collect a memento that will be auctioned on the website teamtalk.com to raise more money.

"So far we've raised over £10,000 but that is not the final figure," said David. "More money will come from the auction. We're being sponsored by clients, friends and work colleagues."
