FAR from councillor Alcock being a 'scaremonger' and 'Billy Bandwagon' as mentioned in some reader's letters, he and his colleagues seem to be the only ones concerned about the health of residents in the South Ribble area.
If Coun Gore had been able to attend the council area meeting he would have heard concerns from the public.
I am glad Coun Alcock was there to listen and to act.
All I can say is well done Coun Alcock if your so called 'scaremongers' can help to save lives today and those of our children then I'll back you all the way.
Perhaps if there had been 'scaremongers' earlier, then we could have averted the tragic deaths from BSE.
We must act now and say NO to any form of incineration and YES to recycling.
