THE search is on for East Lancashire's favourite feline which could then go on to be named the country's top cat.
Seven Seas Pet and Animal Health Care has launched its annual search for the most-loved moggie with a trophy and £200 of holiday vouchers up for grabs plus year's supply of products.
Ten regional runners-up will each receive a year's supply of products.
East Lancashire cat owners can nominate their pet whether their cat is simply a special friend, has been a hero, triumphed over adversity or is simply the tops in their owner's eyes.
To enter owners should send in a photograph of their cat along with not more than 200 words on why they should be awarded the prestige.
Entries should be sent to Debbie Harness, Seven Seas Pet and Animal Health Care, Hedon Road, Marfleet, Hull, HU9 5NJ by February 28 2001.
