DESPITE being two hours late, Frank Bruno still made an impression on the waiting crowds at Woolworths in Burnley as he signed autographs and posed for photographs.
The celebrity, who was delayed when he was stuck in traffic on the M6, launched a new National Lottery game entitled Lottery Extra, which will start on Monday.
The customer must match six numbers to win the prize which will be drawn after the National Lottery.
Store manager Jan Anwar said: "As we were one of the top ten stores for best lottery practice in the country we were nominated for Frank Bruno to come down and launch the game.
"He was a bit delayed but stayed longer than he should have. He was very friendly with the staff and with the children in the store and was the best man for the job.
"We gave him some gifts including chocolates and he was presented with a birthday cake and £5 worth of lucky dips."
