TWO new rural beat officers have been appointed to posts in Lancashire Constabulary's Eastern Division.
PC Pat Sutton will move to take over at Gisburn, covering Rimington, Sawley, Bolton-By-Bowland, Newsholme and Tosside. Pc Mark Holgate will take up a position at Langho, covering Billington, Mitton and York.
Both officers are currently stationed at Burnley and will take up their new jobs on Monday, November 27.
PC Sutton said: "Both Mark and myself are looking forward to our respective moves and the new challenge we will face as rural beat officers. We look forward to getting involved with a variety of community issues across the areas we will be policing."
