BURY'S latest jobless figures have shown a sharp fall.
Statistics for October disclose the number of claimants throughout the borough totalled 1,877, down 166 compared to the previous month.
The latest figures comprise 1,389 males and 478 females.
The October unemployment rate for the borough is 2.6 per cent, compared to 2.8 per cent for September.
