REGARDING your report (LET, December 8) about the proposed new multiplex cinema in Blackburn being in doubt, I and many of my friends would like it to open.
It would be an advantage to movie-goers as more movies would be available and it would boost the town's economy as many cinema-goers end up going out of town to places like Preston and Bolton, which have better facilities all round.
I think it's about time it was sorted out. There has been talk about this new scheme for years now and it's about time something is done to improve Blackburn.
