I HAD to write and say how pleased I am with a letter I got from my children's school.
My children both attend Broad Oak Primary School and in June/July, 1998 after an Ofsted inspection they were put into special measures. This caused a lot of bad feeling and was in the papers. People were saying how bad the area was and the people who lived there, without even knowing us.
Anyway, the good news is we have had another inspection and are now out of special measures.
I would like to say thank you and well done to the headteacher, Mrs Smith, the teaching staff and school governors, also well done to all the children.
If somebody went into our school today they would see how pleasant, bright and organised it is.
