DETECTIVES hope memories can be jogged to help solve a crime involving bogus window cleaners which happened at the beginning of last month.
At about 11am on November 1, two offenders went to the home of an elderly woman in Derwent Street, Leigh.
They told the pensioner that they were window cleaners.
But while one chatted to the woman to distract her, the other man went into the house and stole property.
One of the men was described as having a deformed right hand or possibly missing the hand altogether.
Police hunting the conmen believe that the distinctive description could help lead to their arrest.
The man is 6in tall with a large build and short brown hair.
If anyone can help track down the offenders, ring Leigh police on 0161 856 7251.
