GOOD to see the Labour group leader Abbott Bryning getting his knickers in a twist about standing orders and council procedures the other week and about time too.
Just wonder whether his inquiring mind was sparked into action regarding the procedures used to sack David Christley?
Maybe not. Or perhaps he has a view on declared interests? For example when his deputy, Cllr Ian Barker, had to declare an interest recently over a meeting discussing the Crinkley Bottom affair, was he aware that the councillor quite rightly, declared his interest and left the meeting, however he left behind a printed version of his views on events to be considered by committee members -- so no desire or intention to influence members' opinions there then. Perhaps he could let us have his views.
