I AM a mature nursery nurse student studying childhood studies at Preston College and as part of my course work I must complete a community assignment.
I have chosen to research the provision of Out of School Care for 4-11year olds in our area, covering after-school clubs, holiday play schemes etc.
During my studies I have become more and more aware of problems working parents have in finding such care for their children, especially during school holidays and would like to do more research into this.
I would very much appreciate it if anyone can send me any comments , views or information that they may feel is relevant to my research, including different types of care on offer and difficulties or experiences parents have had in obtaining such care.
