DRINKERS are in with a chance of winning £100 for telling their funniest joke.
In a bid to rid our Christmas crackers of the same old jokes, Whitbread has launched a jokes hotline so that customers can tell the funniest gags they know.
The brewery is offering £100 to the 10 people who submit the best jokes each week until New Year.
And they will get the party going by giving customers a scratchcard containing a joke whenever they buy a drink.
And apart from cash prizes the company are promising to make sure all the jokes are sent to the cracker manufacturers in time for next year's festivities.
Pubs taking part in the scheme will be displaying posters proclaiming 'Christmas Cheer Sold Here'.
