LEADING home improvements company St Helens Glass is highlighting its support for grass roots Rugby League by sponsoring the final of the British Amateur Rugby League Association (BARLA) Lancashire County Cup, for the second year running.
The St Helens Glass Lancashire County Cup final will be played at Knowsley Road between neighbours and North West Counties League Premier Division rivals Haydock and Portico Panthers on Wednesday, January 10 (kick-off 7.30pm).
"We're delighted to be sponsoring the final as it is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the Rugby League calendar," said Harry Daggar, sales director of St Helens Glass.
And BARLA chief executive, Ian Cooper, added: "As sponsors of the reigning Super League champions, it's fitting that St Helens Glass is also showing its support for Rugby League at grass roots level. The company's continued support for the competition is a great boost and really enhances its status."
