BURNLEY'S bid for Birmingham's Dele Adebola still looks dead.
This is despite the fact Blues boss Trevor Francis is close to completing a deal to bring Celtic striker Mark Burchill to St Andrews on a permanent basis for around £1.5million.
Burnley's bid of £750,000 in the middle of last month for Adebola was not enough for Francis and it looks unlikely to change despite the arrival of Burchill on a regular basis, although he has still to agree personal terms with the Blues.
