WHILE Burnley strive to bring new faces to Turf Moor for Saturday, their opponents second placed Bolton Wanderers have player problems of their own.
Danish midfielder Per Frandsen is set to be ruled out of the local derby after he took a knock on his calf against Crewe at the Reebok 10 days ago and then pulled up in training on Thursday.
He was sidelined for last Saturday's 1-0 victory over Wimbledon and underwent tests on the injury.
Now he is an unlikely starter against the Clarets on Saturday, against whom he scored with a first half penalty in the 1-1 draw on the opening day of the season.
But Bolton have have extended the loan of Sunderland's Danish international, Carsten Fredgaard, for the next two months.
Fredgaard, who has made four appearances during the first month of his loan, was given his first start at Wimbledon last week -- only to be substituted in a tactical switch just 29 minutes into the win.
