A MOTHER was taken to Whiston Hospital following a fire at her home in Claremont Road, Billinge, last week.
The fire started at about 7.30pm on Tuesday, December 12 in the kitchen of the house and the 30 year old woman was treated for smoke inhalation and taken to hospital.
Her 11 year old son was unharmed by the fire and taken to a relative's home.
