TWO talented teenagers are snap-happy after reaching the finals in a national photography competition.
Andrew McDonald, 18, and Stephen Furey, 17 (pictured), who are both National Diploma Photography students at Blackburn College, have reached the last 30 in the finals of the Nintendo Gameboy / Agfa competition.
Course leader Richard Perergrine told all his students to enter the competition as part of the course work and is thrilled at the outcome.
He said: "To have two reach a national final is just excellent. Andrew and Stephen used the technical and competency skills they have been taught and have done very well.
Both teenagers were keeping their fingers crossed for a good result in the final which will be judged in the New Year.
