BEREAVEMENT care service Cruse is seeking volunteers to help raise funds and organise publicity for the charity.
The group, which meets at Pendleside Hospice, offers free advice to anyone affected by death and provides support and counselling.
Sue Wood, chairman of the group, said: "Cruse needs volunteers to help to develop the service we offer.
"You do not need to have any qualifications or previous experience but you do need to care.
"We welcome men and women of all ages, races, cultures and backgrounds."
