AS I have reported previously, East Lancs is getting very cyberminded, with lots of talk of becoming an e-community getting support from local, national and European government.
But, just like the sunbeds on holidays, the Germans got there first of course. As a cyber-test by the German government, all 279 residents of a village called Oberhambach are going to receive a free computer and internet access.
Sounds great: but where should we do it? I say, let's get Oswaldtwistle online! You know it makes sense!
For the latest on the local e-community check out the community page on Blackburn World -- or take a look at our CommuniGate site which is still going from strength to strength.
