1890: Sitting Bull lay down and died. His squaw said she would spend her life mourning his passing but remarried three months later. According to Bob Monkhouse her name was Lying Cow!
1892: Billionaire John Paul Getty was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
1874: The world's first Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children was founded in New York.
AD 37: Emperor Nero was born. With his father dead and his mother in exile, Nero was raised by two men, a barber and a dancer.
