YOUNG faces at Fairfield Hospital will be smiling thanks to the generosity of pub regulars.
Drinkers and staff at The Brandlesholme pub in Bury dug into their pockets and raised £1,150 for the hospital's children's ward.
Gillian Bain, pub licensee, said the money was raised through a wide range of events. These ranged from a Hallowe'en fancy dress disco to a line dancing session and various raffles.
Several of the regulars, including co-licensee Kirsty Wells, had their heads shaved, and the staff donated all of their tips from the last three months to help make up the impressive total.
