MUSIC was top of the syllabus for pupils at Elms Bank High School when members of Live Music Now! dropped in.
The students of the Whitefield special school were the latest to enjoy a show by LMN, which is on tour playing concerts in the community for people with special needs.
LMN was set up in 1977 by the world famous violinist Yehudi Menuhin to bring music of the highest quality to people who, because of disability or disadvantage, rarely have access to music.
The musicians also played a concert at William Kemp Heaton day centre in Bury.
Funding for the concerts came from the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities.
Christine Reynolds, LMN director, said: "AGMA has made it possible for our musicians to bring enormous pleasure to many people of all ages and in all circumstances. Music brings lasting memories and benefits to everyone."
