ANTIQUES dealers were put on alert after a smartly dressed thief struck at a Darwen shop and the owner had to chase him to recover a stolen pot.
John Anderton, of KC Antiques, in Bolton Road, tailed the middle aged man for three miles in his car before finally catching up with him at Ewood.
