HELPING train a brand new breed of businessmen and women in Bury.
That's JHP training which has just opened a business centre in Bury.
And to illustrate its services, the company staged an open day which attracted a number of guests.
JHP Training is based on the first floor of Carne House in Parsons Lane, Bury.
It is a deliverer of NVQs (National Vocational Qualifications) training in various aspects of occupational areas.
At the open day, staff welcomed representatives from Lifelong Careers and Bury and Bolton Chamber.
Unfortunately, Bury North MP David Chaytor who was scheduled to turn up had to call off.
At the event, successful candidates received their certificates of achievement and Individual Commitment to Learning Bonus payments of £100.
JHP is now emerging as a quality training provider for Bury and Bolton.
The company is a training provider, delivering NVQs in the workplace.
They canvass employers for vacancies and match these against a resource of young people who have been referred by Lifetime Careers.
There is no fee involved for recruitment and the employer does not pay for the NVQ delivery.
This is funded by Training and Enterprise Councils and Chambers of Commerce.
