EWOOD Park is to hold a special event for carers in the Blackburn area. Sponsored by Blackburn with Darwen council's lifelong learning department, the event is aimed at promoting help for carers in the region.
Organiser Catherine Jones said that every carer in the Blackburn with Darwen area is welcome to join in. She added: "A lot of carers are isolated and we are trying to promote things to help."
There will be activities on the day, including relaxation, Indian head massages, first aid and food. Tours of the football stadium will also take place, and a Rovers player will be a special guest.
The event will be held in the International Suite at Ewood Park on Thursday, February 8, at 1pm to 7pm. Admission will be free, but contact Catherine Jones on 01254 583032 to book a place.
