BULLISH Scunthorpe boss Brian Laws believes Burnley won't be relishing their trip to Glanford Park tonight.

The Iron haven't won in six League games but Laws insists that's not a true reflection of their recent form.

Having played well in the 2-2 at Turf Moor just over a fortnight ago, Laws clearly believes his Third Division underdogs have given Burnley some food for thought.

And after a wasted trip last Tuesday night, the United manager hopes his former club wil leave empty-handed again.

He said: "We have been playing better than our recent results suggest. We will still be ready and prepared for them just as we were last week.

"I'm sure they will dread coming here again."

The Clarets don't appear to be quaking in their boots ahead of the third-round replay, having steadied the ship with two draws and a win in their last three games.

Burnley aren't expecting an easy passage but are desperate to clinch a fourth-round trip to Bolton on Sunday.

"Hopefully we've turned the corner and can go there and win because it's a big prize for the fans, Bolton, if we can win," said top-scorer Andy Payton, who is looking for his first FA Cup goals since a double-blast in the Clarets defeat at Darlington two years ago.
