POLICE officers were flooded with customers for their postcode marking scheme at Darwen police station.
More than 160 youngsters arrived with scooters and bicycles to be stamped with their postcodes on Saturday.
PC John Sergeant said the scheme had been aimed at youngsters who had been given new bikes and scooters for Christmas. He said: "We were surprised by how many people turned up. Post code marking means we can return stolen bikes to their owners."
