GREAT Harwood-based Metflex has invested £70,000 in an on-site manufacturing clean-room -- making it one of the few rubber component companies to be able to tackle coloured compounds.
It will enable the firm to practically eliminate blemishes on components caused by dust.
Steve Parry, material technologist, said: "We anticipate this investment will broaden our traditional market and enable us to offer an even better product."
