LAST week Eddie Worthington from Croxdale in Co Durham revealed his family tree search had led to the Worthingtons of Standish.
Local history collector Joan Szymanowski says that though she cannot tell them where any of the family is she has information on Abraham Worthington in the Howe Bridge archives she holds -- ie the 1891 census and registers.
She also has photographs of him and his gravestone in Atherton cemetery.
