Your chance to play at Ewood Park IT'S the stuff dreams are made -- filling the boots of David Dunn by pulling on a Rovers jersey and curling home a brilliant goal infront of the Blackburn End.

But that could become reality for a host of lucky Rovers fans in the next few months thanks to 'Football Aid' -- a unique new venture set up to raise millions of pounds for charity.

At the end of the season, virtually every club in the top two divisions in England and Scotland will stage a fans' match to raise much-needed funds for diabetes research, as well as local club and football authority charities.

And Rovers are one of 60 clubs who are ready to offer supporters a unique opportunity to pull on the strip and play on the hallowed turf of their heroes.

For 30 lucky Rovers fans, it will be an unforgetable experience which will start with a fitness assessment from LivingWell Health Clubs in the weeks before matchday.

Then, on the big day, they will enjoy a pre-game stadium tour and a final coaching and match tactics session before emerging from the tunnel to play a competitive game in the famous blue and white halves on Ewood's sacred turf.

Fans will be able to bid for a place on the Football Aid website in the next few weeks at www.footballaid.com.

But we've teamed up with the organisers to give away one place to a lucky reader absolutely free!

Watch this space for further details soon.

ROVERS have vowed to look at staffing levels at all their concourse catering outlets throughout Ewood in a bid to slash queues on matchdays.

One concerned shareholder raised concerns at this week's AGM about the amount of time it takes to get a pie at half-time.

Subsequently, the club have promised to review the situation and do their utmost to improve the service.

So once again watch this space for further developments!

Lucky draw DON'T forget Rovers are launching a new half-time draw at this afternoon's game with Derby at Ewood.

Lucky 5 replaces the Bingo game that's been running for most of the season so far.

And the new tickets -- priced at 50p each -- offer three chances to win the top prize, the value of which will depend on the number of tickets sold, up to a maximum of £2000.
