I HAVE been trying to locate a family for some considerable time in the Blackburn area and hope readers can help.
I am trying to find out what happened to the families of George Fitzpatrick Floyd who married Lily Kellett and Thomas Walton who married Martha Alice Kay in a joint marriage ceremony on December 25, 1918, at Christ Church, Blackburn. Both couples acted as witnesses for each other in the ceremony.
They lived in Moor Street and Crook Street, Blackburn and Derwent Street, Darwen, until the late 1930s. I am also seeking information on Mark Balmer Alexander, who died in 1928.
