PLANS have been unveiled to install a large mosaic outside one of Darwen's most familiar buildings.
Artists from Action Factory Community Arts and the Darwen Crafters hope to put the piece in front of Darwen Library Theatre, with the help of funds from Blackburn with Darwen Council.
Images on the mosaic will be gathered from people's memories and thoughts of local people and places.
A representative from Action Factory will be at Darwen Crafters Heritage Centre on Friday between 9.30am and 3.30pm to gather inspiration.
If you cannot make it to the Domes at The Circus on Friday, a book will be left where ideas can be noted.
There will also be a chance for people to help make the mosaics at an open workshop, date and time to be confirmed.
