HUNDREDS of Christians from 21 churches in Leigh will gather in unity to celebrate the World Day of Prayer next month.
The event at St Mary's Parish Church on Friday March 2 will be held as millions around the world also take part in a service of prayer and celebration.
Everyone from Leigh and surrounding area is invited to St Mary's Church at 7.30pm to join in the day of prayer - shared taxis may be available.
Mum-of-four Christine Welch, a teacher, will give the address in Leigh with special parts taken by pupils from Leigh Junior School.
