REGGAE Boy Ricardo Gardner is providing Bolton manager Sam Allardyce with a headache -- in every sense -- as he prepares for Sunday's top-of-the-table crunch with Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Gardner crashed out of Jamaica's midweek World Cup qualifier with Trinidad and Tobago after a nasty clash of heads. The speedy winger was banned from flying home for two days and Allardyce is anxiously waiting for his return before finalising the team.

If, as suspected, Gardner suffered concussion, he will be automatically sidelined for two games. He was expected back in England yesterday to face further medical examination.

After a home draw with Grimsby Town and last Friday's heavy home defeat at the hands of neighbours Blackburn Rovers, Bolton manager Sam Allardyce has to lift his squad for the important trip to league leaders Fulham.
