THE March meeting of Atherton Heritage Society will hear about the "Romans in Lancashire" on March 13.
The deputy director of Lancashire University's archaeology unit, Rachel Newman, will tell of the legions walking through Atherton to Wigan and other activities in the county.
The group will meet at St Richard's Jubilee Hall at 7.30pm, members £1 non-members £1.50.
