PAIN relief is on hand for patients from Leigh recovering from surgery at local hospitals. A group of dedicated nurses has been set up whose job it is to seek and eliminate pain by dealing with patients on an individual basis after their operations.
With the use of individually assigned pain killers the Acute Pain Team have been able to transform what could have been extremely painful stays in hospital into relatively comfortable recoveries.
