CHEADLE were unable to contain rampant Dale who piled in the goals.
Cheadle started the tally by conceeding two own goals both from crosses from Gareth Gardner. But Dale went out to prove they need no such help for their league assault.
Paul Heavey controlled a crossfield ball and lobbed the keeper to make it 3-0 at half time.
Heavey added a fourth after beating the offside trap with a through ball to Cunningham who forced the keeper into a good save and the ball ran loose for Heavey to score.
Cheadle scored from a penalty after a Steve Bird foul on 53 minutes.
Heavey got his hat-trick on the hour and on 68 minutes Craig Sargeson beat three players before laying on to Heavey to make it 6-1.
Gareth Gardner got the seventh and on 82 mins Sargeson got the eighth before stealing a ninth late on.
