AN elderly couple from Great Harwood were heartbroken when thieves ransacked their home and stole £3,000 which they had saved for a holiday and to pay for double glazing. Vincent and Nancy Devaney, of Moss Street, kept the money in a safe which was hidden in their wardrobe.
