EAST Lancashire company bosses are being invited to give up their Sunday next month in the interest of improving their business.
Blackburn's Ewood Park is the venue for a two-day business event, Opportunity 2001, that opens on Sunday April 8.
Organisers, Hurst Green-based International Results Ltd, have deliberately opted for the Sunday launch. "Most businesses within East Lancashire are small to medium-sized enterprises and the people running them have difficulty finding time during the working week to attend events like these," explained managing director Maria Jemicz-Gray.
The event is aimed at both existing businesses and would-be entrepreneurs. Anyone wishing to register for a free ticket should contact Maria, Tel: 0800 056 1419.
