MAY we use your newspaper to make people aware of the law regarding dog fouling. There is a fixed penalty of £25 for any owners caught not cleaning up after their dogs.
We in the Bedford District have formed a residents' association and our first aim is to get rid of the awful mess in our area.
We have the backing of Wigan Borough Council who will supply us with leaflets, other materials and patrols.
