THE public enquiry counter at Leigh police station is due to be temporarily closed for the next four weeks. The closure, between 7am and 3pm, is due to refurbishment. The enquiry counter at Wigan will be open during those hours as a substitute. For emergencies there will be a temporary desk in the rear yard of Leigh Police Station.
