LIVERPUDLIANS and pie crusts will be missing at International Scouse Day in Golborne.
Lob scouse, lobby, lobbies or potato hash -- call it what you will -- but a big meat and potato pie without pastry is probably the best description for the traditional Lancashire recipe which has got staff drooling in the aisles at Asda's Golborne store.
The dish is being offered among staff meals on Thursday, March 29 at a £1 a serving to raise funds for Alder Hey Children's Hospital's rocking horse appeal.
Fund raisers hope to repeat the success of the comic relief fund raising day held at the store when staff and customers raised more than £1,000 for charity.
